Overview

Orion Sky Charters, a luxury private aviation brand and the world’s only 100% Carbon Neutral charter service, partnered with Observer Media Group to build a targeted, multi-format advertising campaign. The objective: craft an elegant, high-impact brand ad for affluent, time-sensitive readers across Florida’s most prestigious markets.

Creative Direction

With a brand promise centered around “Pilot Owned • Passenger Focused,” the campaign aimed to speak to a clientele that values both operational transparency and luxurious convenience. I led the design and development of a visual system that was refined, calm, and aspirational — beginning with a feature ad for our weekly newspaper distribution.

The headline "Beyond First Class™" set the tone, making a quiet but bold declaration of superiority in service, safety, and sustainability.

Design Execution

  • Imagery: A single, elegant aircraft framed against a tranquil sunset horizon created a sense of stillness and precision — matching the calm confidence Orion’s service inspires.

  • Typography: Luxurious serif fonts gave a timeless feel, while allowing for clarity across print sizes.

  • Message Highlights:

    • “Extensive fleet of Light, Heavy, Mid-Size and Super Mid-Size Jets, Turbo Props and Helicopters”

    • “Premier Global Facilities, Personal Concierge, ARGUS Platinum Crews, Ground Transportation”

    • “Empty leg flights with flexible schedules available”

    • “All pilots and aircraft adhere to ARG/US safety standards and FAA regulations”

    • “The world’s only 100% Carbon Neutral charter company”

  • Call to Action: A QR code encased in a branded seal drove readers directly to Orion’s digital booking experience.

Multi-Market, Multi-Format Strategy

The ad debuted in Observer Media Group publications across luxury-forward Florida regions such as Longboat Key, Winter Park, Venice, and West Orange — areas rich with the charter brand’s target demographic.

Beyond the newspaper format, I extended the campaign into:

  • A magazine double truck for high-end regional publications.

  • Digital banners and screen-native versions, keeping message hierarchy and visual integrity intact.

This campaign established Orion’s brand presence in key Florida markets by merging elevated design with precise messaging. It effectively positioned the company as a carbon-conscious leader in luxury air travel — while ensuring local relevance and trust through the Observer’s established media footprint.
